Looking back at this class throughout the semester, I have learned about a lot of new tools & expanded on skills I had, as well as learning new ones.
I think my favorite assignment was iMovie – Before this assignment, I had been very apprehensive about working with video (I personally prefer photography) – But this assignment had me get out of my comfort zone & learn a completely new program & improve my interview skills – I hope to continue learning about film & film editing (in fact I will be taking Visual Storytelling in the spring)
Bootstrap was such a struggle. There were endless amounts of things that needed to be fixed & it was hard to manipulate. Being given so much code & so many files was extremely overwhelming & it was hard to change things because you might inadvertently mess up something else. I wish I could have worked with it more though & made my project better.
Another thing I wish I would have seen happen in the class was maybe have a class facebook group or some way we could view each others work & maybe help each other out. – I never got to see anyone’s work or any examples of the things we were doing & I think it would have been beneficial for us to learn from each other & get ideas.
In conclusion, I had a great time in the class, I will definitely be taking advantage of having my own domain & will be trying to create some new stuff over break for my own use.
