I’m choosing to make my Project Three a fashion blog. Since I started working at J.Crew almost three years ago, I’ve become more aware of the trends and have gained more respect for the industry, you could say. There is so much out there about fashion to blog about, like what’s in right now for the season, what not to wear for the season, cute accessories, etc. My home page will be where I post most of the classic outfit pictures you normally see on fashion blogs, like what’s trending, what isn’t and what my personal favorites items are. I don’t want my website to be just a bunch of pictures of outfits though, because that can be boring. I’ll have another page dedicated to just accessories, with photos, captions and what the accessories pair best with. Another page will feature crazy outfits worn by celebrities, either in the past or present. I’ll write whether I think they pulled it off or not and why. I’ll also make a page that features affordable alternatives to expensive clothes and accessories, because let’s be real, no one can afford a $1000 hand bag or a $250 pair of shoes (especially not college students). I would also like to have a page dedicated to news going on in the fashion world and social media feeds of famous designers or brands. There is a ton of stuff out there having to do with fashion, so I don’t think it will be hard filling my pages up with good content. And last, for some inspiration, let me leave you with a flawless photo of Beyonce. She’s a fashion icon.
My Project Three
I like it! Definitely different than most blogs about fashion that I’ve seen where all they do is post different outfits for a certain style and where to get the clothes from . I really enjoy fashion, its evolution, and the different types of looks people offer so I’m really excited to see what you post.
