I use YouTube all the time, whether it will be for entertainment or to have a visual aid to figure something out. The best part is how easy it is to use YouTube. Simple type a few key words into the search bar and you can easily find thousands of videos relating to what you want.
YouTube is the go to for video uploads and no other can compete. My favorite feature is just how easy it is to upload videos to the site. It’s very simple and it get’s your created content onto the web nearly instantly. Another feature I love is the different channels it offers. I subscribe to a variety of different YouTubers and watch whenever they get new content online. What excites me about it, it makes me want to try creating my own channel once I figure what content I want to provide. On my own personal channel I already upload projects for previous classes such as broadcast stories and CGI videos.
The best part about it, is the layout isn’t busy and easy to follow.

One of the first things that I look at while visiting a site is how organized it is and how easy is it to navigate; and YouTube has both, while maintaining a sleek and interesting layout. I also like how YouTube has revolutionized how we share videos online and how it has created a new way of sharing content in the form of video blogging, or, vlogging. I also find it interesting how there’s such a sense of community on the site, and those who have become popular and rack up a significant amount of subscribers are catapulted to almost a celebrity-like status.
Hey Candace, I enjoyed reading your post. I agree with you and Jasmyne, YouTube is great because of how well organized it is. It is amazing all the different types of videos you can search through. My favorites are the “how to” videos. I use these almost anytime I have a question about how to do something.
Youtube is really well organized, and I love the different types of videos they offer. You can find anything from how to videos to TV show clips. Anytime I have a question on how to do something its almost second nature to just look on YouTube for a quick how to.
YouTube is my default website when I use Safari. I love YouTube because you can find videos from news clips to how-to clips to just funny clips.
I practically live on YouTube. The access to almost any content you desire in a easy to use platform makes it an easy choice on where I spend my internet time.
I use it in two ways, to release my own content for my portfolio and to share with friends / subscribers…
