I have a few favorite websites but perhaps the one i visit the most frequently is yahoo. I visit the yahoo home page at least two – three times throughout the day. I love reading the news that on yahoo. They have everything from breaking news, to popular culture, to viral news, world news, local news, basically you can find every genre of new on yahoo, which is a reason i love it so much. It’s more than just breaking news.
I also really enjoy the layout. The news is displayed like a slide show where you can just sit and watch the articles rotate or you can scroll through them yourself. Each slide features the lead for a story and you can click on the link to read the whole story. One other benefit is you dont need a subscription to view the news its all free.
I also have my email through yahoo so that also makes it convenient to visit.
they also have a trending section where you can view people and topics that are trending.

I really like the article section too, it is an easy way to gather all types of news. I also like that articles are displayed with an image because it always catches my eye.
