Hey everyone! My name is Daniela and I’m a senior at Texas State. I’m currently majoring in mass communications in electronic media with a minor in psychology; I’m also an aspiring singer/musician. I was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, and later raised in Houston, Texas. I’ve also lived in Puerto Rico and Florida and yes, I do miss a good-looking beach. When I’m not at school or working at the Premium Outlets, I’m usually making music, playing with my pup, or finding a good spot to hike.
I was immediately interested in taking this class since I grew quite curious about coding when I took FDOM and computer science. I’m excited to learn the ropes on building a website, and I can’t wait to start working on the appearance of it.
My favorite website to visit is currently SoundCloud. I can spend hours on SoundCloud finding and listening to new music (which is very exciting to me). I’ve discovered some great songs and artists I’ve never even heard before this site. I love that it’s a good way for artists to connect with each other, and that I can keep up with what songs/artists my friends are sharing.
Finally! Someone who doesn’t consider these lakes or the cost an awesome beach! Ignorance is bliss… And I miss bliss. I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida so when people ask me to come to a lake or beach, I find it very difficult to not compare the two places. I’ve also been to Costa Rica, it’s an awesome place. The roads in the mountains can be kinda sketchy but the beaches and food are something to behold.
Sound cloud is awesome! I’ve found myself downloading some of my favorite tracks from soundcloud.
How do you like being a mass comm major? How did you decide on mass comm with a minor in psychology? I LOVED fdom, I thought it was the coolest class I’ve ever taken and I hope some of my current classes can top it.
I am super jealous that you were able to live in a handful of places already! I stayed in the same town my entire life and have always wished that I was able to say that wasn’t the case. Which place did you like living at the most?
