My name is Candace Evans and I am a Electronic Media major. I currently work at a vet clinic as a receptionist. I enjoy things that involves computers, video games, animals, and film. I took this class because HTML and wed designing always peaked my interest. I like the idea of creating things so I saw this class as fitting. I hope to learn how to create a complete website on my own.
One site that I frequent is Reddit. It’s devised of subreddits or subblogs that have different interest. Anyone can post to the site, although there are some rules varying from different sub to sub. I love going there for news. Whenever a major event happens, people will link multiple sources and basically do all the research for me. It helps gives different perspective I may not be able to get from one media source. The site’s design is not too fancy, but it works for what it’s for. They only thing I would fix is how to search for things on the site. Sometimes when searching for things it can be difficult.
