Where to begin?
This class has not been the easiest for me. I am in my senior year and I have projects in every class, as well as a job and an internship. This class is one of those, that if you don’t keep up with Becks that you fall behind. And she likes to go FAST. I don’t think there was a day where someone around me wasn’t confused or lost in the assignments. It’s expected. We jam a lesson in how to code in 5o minute sessions, 3 times a week. I think the current events digs too much into our time, to be honest.
Well, in the beginning, I was able to keep up with the basic .HTML, however, when we started getting into .CSS, that’s when I started falling behind. When we had moved on to other projects like the iMovie project, that was what I enjoyed the most. See, I’m not a coder, but a videographer, so that was my strong suit. This class has taught me a lot this spring semester. I do want to build my own website, but I still haven’t decided on which path I’m going to take. Bootstrap was odd…I don’t know if I liked it or hated it.
I heard Becks isn’t going to be teaching this class next semester, wonder what it’s going to be like then. One other thing I really liked was making a bare-bones basic website. It worked, it was mine and I made it from scratch. One of the things that I didn’t like, was the short amount of time the class was. The amount of times we had to stop midway because we ran out of time was often. Becks did say that majority of our questions could be solved with Google, and that’s true.
Overall, I would say that this was a pretty fun course. It was challenging in it’s own way, since most problems were only in certain situations.
Now to finish the final site.
