I’ve really enjoyed everything we’ve learned during this class and can thankfully say that my skills have improved significantly when it comes to coding and website design. My favorite project so far was project 3, our hobby/organization site. That project was probably the most fun for me personally because it’s easy to build a website full of content that you love to talk about and share with other people, so it makes it that much easier to turn it into a website you can really be proudĀ of. I’m also glad that we’ve got to experience working with so many different programs that I don’t normally get a chance to use like Photoshop, Javascript, Fetch, etc. This class has definitely been a great building block for gaining experience with web publishing and has kept me interested in wanting to continuously learn more. I still have plenty of room for improvement when it comes to certain design coding on CSS and making things look exactly the way I want, but the great thing about this type of work is that you can always count on outside resources to assist you with basically any issue you may be having with your content. I was apprehensive about the final project in the beginning because it was a little overwhelming before planning out what I was going to research and how I was going to get enough content in a short amount of time, but now that I have a set plan and know how I want to set everything up I’m pretty excited to see it come to life. Overall, I’m very happy I took this class and it’s been just as rewarding and fun as I thought it would be!
