Hi everyone!

My name is Jenna, I’m 22, from Austin, and I’m a journalism senior. I’ll be graduating this December and I hope to move to Arizona soon after to work, and later go to grad school for archaeology. It’s an odd mixture, I know, but Anthropolgy is my minor and I’d love nothing more than to somehow use both my communication skills and archaeology research in the future. But for now, my life pretty much revolves around my dog, Zia, and making it to graduation!

I’m taking web publishing as part of my degree. I spent the majority of my last two years of high school working on our yearbook in InDesign, so since this class was my other option, I thought I’d give it a go. Plus I believe, as many professors say, that coding is very important, especially now.

I’m guilty of online shopping too much, so my favorite website is MissGuided.  First, I like how the home page has rotating photos showing promotions and styles. I also like the overall organization of the site, with navigation/category buttons aligned at the top, the main banner underneath, followed by featured items. The site is compelling because of the photos and .jif files added to make the page more aesthetically pleasing.

Jenna, I have a shopping addiction too. If you ever get a chance go to shop backbite.com, they have so many cute old school tees and they aesthetics are amazing its sharp and easy to get around. I assume you like to hike (according to your picture) and I come from El Paso, so whenever you have a chance to stop by there when you travel check out the mountains I think you would really enjoy them.

Jenna, that is so cool that you want to move to Arizona! I have hiked the Grand Canyon twice and it’s such a great state to be outdoors! I also have a dog. Walking your dog will be super fun in Arizona. There are plenty of places to hike and walk around, aka perfect for a dog! I wish you well on your adventure in grad school and in Arizona!
