Before anything else, it’s safe to say I know more about coding than a lot of people since I have taken this class. It has been a challenge for me, but I can confidently say I can decipher html! It’s a skill that will impress future employers and will set us all apart from others.
One of my favorite assignments was Project Two, because we got to see our own websites, with our own URLs that we created on our OWN (with a LOT of Becky’s help)! It was cool to see it come alive and be able to type your own name into a browser. I also liked the iMovie assignment, because it showed me how easy it is to build a short video clip, which is another great skill to have as we enter the real world (scary). I found Bootstrap to be one of the harder assignments that I struggled with most. The concept wasn’t hard for me to grasp, but I think having more time on my own to play with it would help. I am definitely going to use my domain in the future. It professional and I would love to get a lot of use out of it. Since starting our final projects using WordPress, I’ve been excited to learn more about all it can do. It’s an impressive site and I’m excited to use it, even after the class ends.
Overall, I am very glad I chose to take this class. I know I have gained skills I can take with me after I graduate, which is really important to me. Becky was a great teacher and made it easy to enjoy the class!
