This class has been quite interesting. I’ve never had a class like this one. I took it as an elective looking to gain a skill that can be useful in a world that is becoming increasingly technological. I remember being interested in learning how to build a website from the ground up and wanting to find the ways to customize it to become your own.
The assignment I enjoyed the most would have to be the iMovie project. I have always enjoyed constructing videos because I have made them for my own use. I enjoyed interviewing people and getting information together in order to make into one video format. I struggled with the hobby/organization website the most because the coding aspect was far more advanced than the first website we made, thus I was unable to comprehend and understand how to construct it properly.
One thing I did learn is the iMovie project helped me realize I like to work with video. It’s very comforting to see a video you made be finished and be able to play is with all the customization you did to it. In my profession, I may look into video production. I hope to somehow incorporate the html skills I learned into my future, as well. This has been a very cool, helpful class that helped me learned a little more about the technology I use everyday.
