This class was definitely not what I expected. I thought I’d be learning more designing than building websites and I was wrong! I learned a lot more than I thought I could, and I am glad I learned a lot of helpful outlets that are good for coding. This class was definitely a struggle for me, but it was enjoyable once I got the hang of things.
My favorite assignment was building our first website and getting to design it with our own ideas and creativity. It was fun writing about what I enjoy and making things look the way I would want them to. The hardest assignment for me was the carousel because I feel like I didn’t know enough at times to diagnose the issues I was having.
I hope I can put some of my coding to use in my future career. I like the design part to this class over the heavy coding stuff because I am a visual person. Overall, this was a very challenging class for me, but I loved the satisfaction that came with seeing the finished product!
