I would like to build a website focusing on fashion, specifically festival and street style because those are two of my favorite looks. I’ve always been into fashion, but more so now with all the social media fashion accounts. I mainly use Instagram to follow some of my favorite fashion accounts because they contain a link to the site where I can order the clothes after seeing the initial picture on Instagram.
The five pages of my website will consist of 1. people I look to for fashion trends and style, 2. favorite stores that I frequent to create my looks, 3. fashion accounts I follow on Instagram, 4. a gallery consisting of my outfits, friends outfits and students outfits that I like and the final page might be 5. some of my favorite accessories for an outfit like jewelry pieces I use a lot, shoes I tend to wear, purses and maybe make up looks I like.
I want to be able to showcase my writing ability with something I have a passion for. I would love to be a social media editor for a store like Urban Outfitters or Free People so having this to show during interviews will be great. There are a lot of fashion blogs out there, but I think what makes mine stand out is how I’m focusing on only two styles while a lot of fashion blogs tend to be scattered and try to focus on all styles making it somewhat cluttered and hard to follow.
