After taking the troubleshooting assessment, I realized that I feel pretty comfortable with images. For instance, the banner image. It also helped that I was able to refresh the page and see if the changes that I made were actually correct.
The part that I had the most trouble with was probably the section where the entire paragraph was a link and it needed to be changed to display just the actual link. I eventually figured it out, but I kept overlooking the end.
A website that I think works great for learning code, which I’m sure many people have heard of, is Code Academy. I like how the page is set up, it gives you different options on where you want to start. Once you click on what you would like to do, it gives a pretty easy explanation on what you are learning.
Code Academy is great, I love how it saves your progress and sends you updates on how you’re doing.
I took advantage of coding images and just trusting that they will show up. However, the assessment helped me realize how one slight change in the code can make things not work.
I haven’t heard of Code Academy but I will definitely check it out next time I have any questions about coding for the future projects.
I can relate to overlooking the end of the code. I was trying to figure out why the footer was in the middle of the page for a while and then eventually figured out that there was no closing tag for the table.
