Well, like a majority of our class I started “coding” back in the My Space days. I never really knew what I was doing but I knew if I went into the code and changed a few little things I would get something different on my site. I had no idea what any of it really meant, but I knew I loved tweaking it and making it unique. Fast forward to Spring 2015; I took FDOM and did a little coding again in that class. I knew what CSS was and what it did to style a site, but I never new how much time and information went into an actual style sheet. HTML was easy for me and I knew how to work with that, but CSS is a whole other ball game and I am really excited to experience. It definitely can make coding simpler if you know what you are doing. I am excited to learn more about coding this semester. It is definitely something I enjoy and I find interest in.

One of the site I visit most often is a blog called Le Happy. It is a minimalistic grunge fashion blog, I needless to say, am obsessed with. I love the style of the gal, as well as how elegantly simplistic her site is. I really like the cleanliness of the site and the lines. It makes it really appealing to me.

Like you, I also did not realize the complexity that went into CSS. I checked out LEHAPPY, super cute blog and the girl has a killer sense of style.

I think everyone was surprised at how different css was than html. I can’t wait to master it though! This girl has an amazing blog, I love her headlines and the theme of the blog. Her toolbar on top of the page was pretty impressive too! I’ll definitely have to keep checking it out.
