The only experience I have had with coding prior to Web Design was in my Fundamentals of Digital and Online Media class. I learned more of the basics in FDOM. Web Design has been a different experience than just learning the basics. It goes more into the depth of styling.
So far in class, I have learned that there is so much creativity that goes into the styling of coding. It’s one thing to understand the knowledge of code, but it’s another to learn how to use your creativity into how to style the knowledge you’ve learned of coding. Structure and style is a powerful way to catch the eye of readers. Within the month of taking Web Design, the skills I have learned has enhanced my ability to focus on every detail I make in the coding process. Designing a website takes perfection. One small, invisible-like mistake can mess everything up. I have learned how to become fully aware of every step I take.
One of my favorite sites to visit is CHAR co. I view their photography and life tips, but it is the way the website is structured that lead me to read their message.
Thanks for sharing that website! I had never heard of that company. I love what they are about and how slick their site is!
I also really like the website! It’s really easy to navigate and I particularly like how the font style changes when you hover over the links. Since it’s a photography-based website, I like how they emphasize that with big, clear banner images. This looks like a site that every twenty-something woman needs to know about.
I love the design of that website!! I just checked it out for the first time and spent a while just browsing through the different pages.
