I enjoyed taking this class a lot. I enjoyed every assignment that we had, especially the Hobby/Organization Website. I signed up for this course because I thought it would be a good resume builder and something new that was different than any class I’d taken. Coming into this class I expected it to be extremely difficult, but it turned out to not be as difficult as I thought. I expected to like the class, but not to enjoy coding as much as I do.
The topic in the class that I struggled with the most was customizing websites through CSS. Adding code to the HTML pages was easy enough, but when it came time to work with CSS I had a hard time getting my changes to appear on the website. It’s also been hard for me to remember CSS and I find myself googling even simple things like classes and ids. Making my website responsive was also difficult.
I’m planning on keeping my websites active and continuing to work on them after the class is finished. I want to install wordpress on all of my websites so they look more advanced, but still completely customized.
