Mass Communication Week was hosted this past week and it never fails to excite me. Last years Mass Comm Week was my first year ever and being able to expierence it for a second year was even better. I was able to attend five panels this year, but my two favorites are below:
The first panel I was able to attend was Digital media: A tech tour by Alastair Winston, Aaron Barr and Luke Bone from Just Media Inc, Austin. They spoke to us about their company and what they accomplished at Just Media Inc. They take clients products and employ them across different media technology platforms. They use analytics on clients websites for efficient information to help guide clients and to point out different audience targets.
The second panel I attended was “Entrepreneurial thinking: Why Millennial’s will change the world” with Christ Perez, CEO of Left/Right Media where he takes clients business and make them easily visible to their clients audience through a mobile platform. His panel was very inspiration for young entrepreneurs. My favorite quote of his was when he said “go deep with your ideas to make them alive.”
