I promise I’m not actually naming it that though, I’m just trying to get this post in before deadline.
For my Project 3 I’m planning on creating a website about coffee. It’s the force behind my entire life so it’s kind of a big deal. My dad drinks coffee like it’s water, so you could say it’s in my blood to love it. Growing up, I always loved the way the smell of a new pot brewing would fill the kitchen. But my dad’s sort of a no-fuss Navy man, so he’s pretty stuck on Folgers.
The last year or so I’ve been really into learning different ways to brew manually. There’s a lot of science to the different methods and that is really interesting to me, so it’s something I want to explore with my website.
My five pages will be a home page with an intro to the site and plenty of pretty photos, a page on different methods of brewing and tips on how to get the perfect cup, a page with recipes for different coffee-related things – homemade lattes, flavored syrups, and more, a page with a list of different coffee shops in Austin that I love and why, and a sort of coffee news page that will feature new roasts and things like that.
