I think it is important for websites to be responsive. There’s nothing more annoying than to scroll and zoom because a web page doesn’t fit to the size of your phone or tablet. I think it’s important for websites to be responsive because not only is it more aesthetically pleasing, it’s more convenient for the people that want to be on the site. I think apps are even more convenient for the users.
I think Facebook is a fantastic example of a responsive website and app.

I also hate zooming and scrolling on sites that don’t have a mobile version. The website that is used to check my work schedule is that way, and it drives me crazy!
