Responsive web design and media queries are essential in today’s world. This is because of the many devices that sites are accessed from. It is necessary for the site to adapt with the device in order for the site to be more convenient to the once accessing it. This is especially true because of the many sites that use responsive web design; if the site does not cater to the reader, the reader is more inclined to find another site that does.
In my opinion, I would much rather visit a responsive site than download an app. However, this may be because my storage is always full from my music addiction. There are a few exceptions though. I have apps for most of the social media sites.
Apple‘s responsive site works well across multiple platforms. This comes at no surprise considering Apple creates many of the devices that we use daily. Their site works beautifully on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
