One of my favorite websites that I often check out is Union. Union is a wakeboard site that has interviews,videos, edits, photos and articles. Union does a really good job of putting out the edits (short videos of wakeboarders riding) in a good timely fashion. Union also holds the best content in my opinion.
Union’s color scheme design is my favorite part about the website. It is kind of similar to Apple’s website. I love the sleek laid back look of it. It is also really cool where they place everything from the navigation to the directory of info on the page towards the bottom. On each horizontal side, there are “more” and “prev” somewhat hidden with a light font that blends well into the background color. Whenever you click on a video to watch, it takes you to another page, like it should; on that page there will be a little description of the rider and what the video might be about. Sometimes the writers will even through in a throw in a quote from the rider as well. 
Each picture that Union uses on its website is always fixed just right for the particular place that its in. Union didn’t just use any photo to create links to different parts of the websites, they creatively chose what to do in each. Union also made the site very simple but intriguing at the same time. I love simple, that’s why I love Apple so much. Apple also uses the simple but intriguing look. When you hoover over the navigation buttons, instead of only turning a different color, a feature of the page you are about click on pops up to give you an idea on what will be on the page. I like that it does that so you don’t always waste time when you click many different links attempting to get to a certain one.
Other websites that I really enjoy are Rotoworld, Twitter and NFL.com.
