Baseball is life. For me, anyway. It’s the last thing i check before going to sleep. I see the final scores, check the home run highlights and the sweet, flawless double-plays. Luckily for me, MLB.com is an amazingly designed website that provides me with all of that information and so much more. It has any player’s current stats, a team’s position in the stands or you could buy tickets right off the website for the next home game of your favorite team. Everything about this website is designed so whatever it is that you are looking for, you’ll find it with ease. One of my favorite features is the the pull down menu that displays all of the Major League teams and let’s you click them to find out the specific news, highlights and fan shop of that particular team. Personally, I visit the Texas Rangers website all the time. I can buy merchandise right from the shop or just watch the crazy home runs off of slugger Prince Fielder.
Another great feature they have is the news articles. They keep up with the latest injuries, trade rumors or even funny moments of the MLB. In the Cut4 section, they are just filled with amusing articles that shouldn’t be taken too seriously, but they showcase the truly fun experience that baseball is. This is my favorite website and you can catch me getting alerts, constantly. If I am not watching the game live, I’m checking out the live score board on the left side of the home page.
