Hirshhorn

My favorite thing to do when I have time off is visit museums and sculpture gardens. The website allows me to visit one of my favorite museums in Washington D.C., virtually. Museums and sculpture gardens are beautiful to visit and being able to visit Hirshhorn website  and see the art virtually is convenient since I don’t live in Washington D.C.

Their website is structured in a way that is pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate to see what new exhibits and collections are available to view. My favorite collection I like to view are the moving image art section, as well as the sculpture garden and plaza section. Instead of clicking on a page you want to view this website slides through new content when you move your mouse to the left or the right of the screen.

The website gives you an opportunity to meet the artists and read the museums newsletters as well as keeping up with events around the National Mall. The website gives the viewers the opportunity to support  and donate to the museum and its exhibits
