I am a new user to The Daily Beast website, but I originally took a liking to this site because of its appearance. I  saw my friend on The Daily Beast at work, and I thought it looked interesting so I decided to check it out for myself. This site is visual appealing and easy to navigate. I feel like this site is geared more towards the younger generation, and I can appreciate that.

When you first see the website it has all of the current news and issues on the top of the page. I like that they set it up this way because it makes it easier to find current events and information faster. The Daily Beast has a wide variety of content and their navigation bar is  located at the top of the website which makes it easy to view the different topics.

The Cheat Sheet has the current trending stories and allows you to easily post the story to your twitter and Facebook. They take unique perspective when posting their stories. I like how the site uses 3 basic colors (red, black, white) and let’s the titles of the articles and the pictures be the eye catching aspect.  The Daily Beast focuses on being sarcastic yet informative and the layout of their website helps this theme.

I have visited The Daily Beast before and I also like that fact that you can easily share an article you find interesting. It’s also a website that is easy to navigate and easy to read content.

I can honestly say that I have never heard of this site. It reminds me of a more organized version of Buzzfeed. But from what you say about it, I think I might check it out!

I had never visited or heard of the site before this post. It also reminds me of Buzzfeed. I think the cheat sheet is a cool feature, too!
