name is Rachel. I am 21 and originally from a small town outside of Houston called Waller. I transferred to Texas State last fall from Blinn in Bryan College Station. I’m currently pursuing my degree in Public Relations with a minor in Art and Design. I’m taking this class, firstly, to fill one of my mass comm elective spots. But, more importantly, I’m taking this class because I think coding is interesting. My boyfriend is a coder so I’m around it quite a bit. I guess this class will help me understand what the heck he’s talking about.. that’s a plus.

I spend a lot of time on
Pinterest. Being a crafty person, I enjoy going through all the DIY pins. I really love the new update they made where it shows you pins that you can buy. I always find cute outfits on Pinterest, but they never show me where to buy it, so the new feature is really handy.

I transferred from Blinn Jr. College in Bryan too! I transferred two years ago though. I had never heard of Texas State until I moved to College Station and while I lived there I started realizing that College Station/A&M wasn’t the place for me and moved to San Marcos after completing two years at Blinn.
Hey Rachel! I’m also an avid Pinner and love the new feature where they show where I can buy the things I pin! It’s a blessing and a curse.
